Currently In Call Status

Your status changes to 'Currently In Call' anytime your account is connected to an active client call. You will not receive new calls while still connected to an active call.

If you need to switch from one device to another during a call, open the app on the new device, click on Currently in Call

Click on Join to join the call on your new device.

This may not end your connection on your original device. To end that connection, DO NOT click on the Red/Hang Up button! That will end the call on both devices.

Instead of hanging up on your original device, fore close the app.

Mobile: Swiping the app closed (refer to your mobile device's User Guide on how to swipe to close apps)

Web: Close the browser tab

How to resolve

  1. A screen will appear after clicking this button asking you to rejoin or end the call.

  1. If you were disconnected from a call that was in progress please hit rejoin. This will try to place you back on the call.
  2. If you are not in a call you can click No, Ignore and disconnect from the call.

How to prevent this

The most common reason you would show In A Call status is because the call didn't end correctly or your scheduled call hasn't been closed. This typically happens if one party does not end the call correctly. This means simply closing the app, connection dropping, or other reasons, other than both parties using the end button to end the session.

While you can't control how the client leaves the call,  ensuring you always exit calls fully and rate them will help minimize this.
