To be able to accept Zoom calls, we must create a Zoom account, this is free of charge and takes just a few minutes on their website. If you already have an account that you can use for Jeenie sessions in Zoom, you can skip to step 5.
- Visit the Zoom sign-up page
- Click the orange button at the top right that says “Sign up, it’s free”
- Verify your date of birth
- The next screen will let you know that the activation email was sent. Please follow the instructions in the email from Zoom (no-reply@zoom.us) to activate your account.
- Edit your profile in the Zoom web portal: At Jeenie, we care about your privacy. Since Zoom hosts can view your first and last name, please make sure your Zoom profile only shows your first name. It is important that you not only modify the Zoom display name but also delete the last name box if your last name shows there.
