Joining the Session:
- Ensure you’re logged into the Jeenie App and set to “Available” status as usual. The session will appear just like any other incoming call.
- After you accept the session, a pop-up message will appear on your screen. Refer to the heading of the pop-up to see which platform the call will be conducted on.
- The “Additional Information” section contains important details provided by the client before the call begins. Please note that this section may be blank if the client chooses not to share any information.
- Click “Join Call” from the Jeenie App.
- You will be redirected to the corresponding platform in a new tab:*
-
- Zoom: Opens in the Zoom desktop/mobile app. If the call is in Zoom, please see our Accepting a Zoom Call FAQ for next steps.
- Microsoft Teams: Opens in the Teams app or browser (app preferred).
- Google Meet: Opens in browser or Meet app.
-
-
Instructions may vary depending on the platform and the specific setup used by the client. Make sure to follow the appropriate steps based on the platform where the session will take place to ensure a successful connection.
This is an example for calls on Google Meet. You must click “Join Call” in the new tab to successfully join the call.
- Follow the platform-specific prompts to allow microphone/camera permissions and enter the session properly.
Important: Your call minutes will begin counting only after you join the session through the pop-up message.
If you don't join the meeting once you've accepted the call and been directed to the new platform, you will not be paid.
After the Session Ends
- Once the client confirms that the session is over, they will end the call from their side, and your status on the Jeenie App will automatically return to “Available.” You may then close the browser or app tab where the session occurred — but do not close the Jeenie App.
- If for any reason your status does not switch back to “Available” and you still see yourself as “Currently in a Call”, follow our Call Status Shows: In Call FAQ
